Mike McKay is one of four Founding Partners here at PivIT Global and serves the organization in a daily capacity as a Sales Director in our office outside of Portland, Oregon - USA.
Mike is a veteran of our industry and has been committed to providing his clients with infrastructure, maintenance and IT services for their data centers and enterprise networks since he began his career in 1999.
Mike comes to work to relax, as he'll jokingly tell you, and is the proud husband to his wife Alison and their 11 children. Together Mike and Alison have committed themselves to the DHS and foster care networks in Oregon, 4 of their children are adopted, and the two help lead PivIT Global in its commitment to these communities of children.
Over the years, Mike has come to really appreciate the long-term relationships that he has with clients - understanding their requirements, budgets, timelines, and helping to customize and deliver solutions that meet those needs. Whether is Cisco’s ever-changing ‘Smart’ Licensing model, or just keeping up on the changing technologies….Mike enjoys the fast pace of the IT industry and continuing to learn more about new technologies and solutions.
If you ask Mike, he’ll tell you that being part of the team at PivIT Global is the highlight of his career, “we’ve got an incredibly talented team at PivIT – almost all with 10-15 years of experience in our industry. I thoroughly enjoy coming to work each day and playing a small role in something really special here at PivIT”.
When he's not working, you can find Mike building skateboard ramps with his kids, attempting to be an apple farmer, or juggling kids (not literally, of course).
