Job Summary:
PivIT Global is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Operations Coordinator to join our growing team. This role requires an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates a high degree of accuracy, and can effectively collaborate across multiple departments. The ideal candidate will have a proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and a desire to contribute to a team focused on operational excellence.
About the Role:
The Operations Coordinator will support daily operations by coordinating with the Receiving, Inventory, Picking, Packaging, and Shipping teams. This individual will be responsible for the proper handling, identification, and organization of IT networking equipment, ensuring that all processes meet PivIT’s quality and efficiency standards. The role requires a strong commitment to operational precision and cross-functional teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal teams including Receiving, Inventory, Order Management, Packaging, Shipping and Marketing
- Inspect and verify incoming equipment for quality and accuracy
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace
- Conduct inventory cycle counts
- Assist with preparing, picking, labeling and packaging shipments
- Communicate effectively to escalate and resolve issues promptly
- Participate in process improvement initiatives as identified
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; post-secondary education or technical training preferred
- Warehouse and/or material control experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with a sense of urgency
- Ability to lift and move boxes and equipment weighing over 50 lbs
- Proficient in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to identify and resolve issues independently while collaborating effectively within a team
- Demonstrated work ethic, integrity, and professionalism
