Job Summary: 

This individual must be able to work in a fast-paced environment that requires accuracy and a high level of attention to detail. Has the ability to clearly communicate between multiple departments, highly organized, and can multitask throughout the day-to-day roles and responsibilities. This individual is responsible for identifying, sorting and safely handling a variety of Network equipment. This individual will be assisting and working closely with the Receiving, Picking, Inventory, Packaging and Shipping Teams to meet PivIT’s high standards and Goals.

What You'd Do:

  • Interface with Receiving, Picking, Inventory, Packaging and Shipping

  • Ensure that incoming packages are up to PivIT’s standards and not damaged

  • Communicates effectively when issues or problems arise

  • Properly and safely handle equipment/tools within the workspace

  • Carefully review and QC all orders during processing

  • Assist Order Management Team with priority orders

  • Clear out Inventory Racks daily

  • Perform Inventory Cycle counts weekly

  • Assist Packaging team with packaging equipment in appropriate and safest box

  • Maintains a safe, clean and organized workspace


 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 

  • Knowledge of current warehouse process and procedures

  • Great attention to detail

  • Proven critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities

  • Organizational skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment

  • Great written and verbal communication skills

  • Basic Networking parts knowledge (switches, routers, servers, access points)

  • Excellent work ethic

  • Ability to lift equipment and boxes over 50lbs

  • Productive with a sense of urgency

  • Ability to identify and resolve recurring problems

  • Intuitive and always looking for ways to improve

  • Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)

 

Credentials and Experience 

  • High School degree, College/University studies or equivalent

  • 2yrs of related warehouse experience

  • 2yrs of basic material control experience

  • Experience with Networking products (Cisco, HP, Dell, Juniper, Arista)
