Stephanie “Steph” Givens works in our Santa Barbara, CA location. She is one of our “data chasers.” Among other things, she looks for evidence and interprets it. Then, she has to evaluate whether or not it is important. At times, it’s almost a computer forensics situation. She also tracks down data that seems to have been lost, restoring it to the appropriate owner. When she’s not chasing data Steph manages service projects. She’s been in the industry for over 10 years, so she has a lot of connections and has adapted to many changes in IT.
One of the best things about working at PivIT, according to Steph, is the flexibility. She finds the values of the company to be in sync with her own values and her coworkers are fun.
Steph and her husband have 2 daughters and a cat named Calvin. She enjoys audiobooks, mostly psychological thrillers by Luanne Moriaty, Gillian Flynn, Ruth Ware, and Sue Watson. If she’s not enjoying a vodka and diet soda while she enjoys an audiobook, you may find her down at the beach or the gym, lifting weights. She also enjoys making photo books.
